MACHINE OVERVIEW
START WITH THE FINISHED PACK AND PRODUCT
Is a Stick Pack or Sachet Packing Machine Right for Your Project?
This machine category uses rollstock film to form, fill and seal compact small packs. The suitable route is determined by the finished pack format, product behaviour, target fill, bag dimensions and required production output.
PACKAGING PRINCIPLE
Formed from Rollstock Film
The machine creates each finished pack from packaging film during the packing process. It is not a machine for opening and filling preformed pouches.
- Provide for review
- Film structure, finished-pack sample and required seal layout.
START WITH THE FORMAT
Stick Pack or Sachet
Stick packs and sachets have different finished shapes and sealing arrangements. Confirm the pack format first, then review the applicable machine structure and bag-size range.
- Confirm before selection
- Pack width, length, fill amount and opening requirement.
PRODUCT-LED CONFIGURATION
Match the Dosing Route
The filling arrangement is selected around the actual product and target fill. Product flow, particle size, viscosity and powder behaviour all affect the final configuration.
- Review around
- Product sample, product characteristics and target output.

POWDER STICK PACK FILLING
Powders & Dry Mixes
For powder stick packs and sachets, product flow, dust behaviour, target fill and seal-area cleanliness are reviewed together before the filling route is selected.- Review for the project
- Flowability, dust behaviour, target fill and film compatibility.
- Filling consideration
- The filling route is matched to the confirmed powder and pack requirements.
GRANULE STICK PACK FILLING
Free-Flowing Granules
For free-flowing granules, the project review focuses on particle size, product movement, target fill and keeping the sealing area suitable for the selected pack.- Review for the project
- Particle size, flow consistency, target fill and seal condition.
- Filling consideration
- The filling route is matched to the confirmed granule behaviour and pack requirements.
LIQUID SACHET & STICK PACK FILLING
Liquids & Semi-Liquids
For liquid and semi-liquid projects, viscosity, temperature, product supply, target fill and sealing conditions are reviewed with the finished stick pack or sachet format.- Review for the project
- Viscosity, temperature, target fill, product supply and sealing conditions.
- Filling consideration
- The filling route is matched to the confirmed liquid behaviour and pack requirements.

Important: Video examples show individual packaging processes. Final machine configuration, filling route and output are confirmed against the actual product, pack format and project requirement.
HOW IT WORKS
FROM ROLLSTOCK FILM TO FINISHED PACK
How Stick Pack & Sachet Packaging Works
The machine guides rollstock film through forming, filling, sealing and cutting to create the selected stick pack or sachet. In this form-fill-seal process, the forming set, filling interface and sealing arrangement are reviewed around the finished pack and actual product.
PRIMARY PACKING PROCESS
From Rollstock Film to a Finished Pack
Real machine views illustrate film handling, product filling, sealing control and pack-forming stations. The applicable setup is confirmed for the selected stick pack or sachet.-
ROLLSTOCK FILM
Film Unwind & Forming
The film is unwound, guided and formed into the geometry required for the confirmed stick pack or sachet format. -
PRODUCT INPUT
Product Filling
The filling route is matched to the actual product behaviour, target fill and selected pack format. -
PACK CLOSURE
Sealing & Cutting
The machine completes the required seal layout and separates the finished pack using the confirmed cutting arrangement. -
FINISHED PACK
Discharge & Line Connection
Finished packs are discharged for collection. Connection to downstream equipment is evaluated only when required by the project.
OPTIONAL PACK FEATURES
Specify the Required Opening and Cut Finish
These features are reviewed with the selected pack format, film structure and applicable tooling. They are project-specific and are not assumed to be included in every machine configuration.Easy-Tear Notch
Confirm the notch position and opening direction on the finished-pack drawing.
Rounded-Corner Cut
Confirm the required corner profile and the cutting arrangement for the selected pack.
Serrated / Zigzag Cut
Review the required edge finish against the packaging film and matched tooling.
Shaped Contour Cut
Provide the required outline for review where a shaped finish and dedicated cutting tooling are needed.
CONFIGURATION NOTE
The process sequence remains consistent, while the forming, filling, sealing and discharge details depend on the actual packaging project.SPECIFICATIONS

FAQ
BUYER QUESTIONS BEFORE MACHINE SELECTION
Stick Pack & Sachet Machine FAQs
Review the pack format, product, film, output and destination requirements before the final machine configuration is confirmed.
What Is the Difference Between a Stick Pack and a Sachet?
A stick pack is a narrow, elongated single-serve pack commonly formed with a longitudinal back seal and top and bottom cross seals. A sachet is generally a flatter, wider pack that may use a three-side-seal or four-side-seal layout. The right format depends on the product, target fill, opening experience and required presentation.
Can the Machine Pack Powders, Granules, Liquids and Semi-Liquids?
The packaging route can be reviewed for powders, free-flowing granules, liquids and semi-liquids. The filling system is not selected by the pack name alone: product flow, particle size, dust behaviour, viscosity, temperature and target fill must be reviewed before the filling arrangement is confirmed.
Can One Machine Produce Different Pack Sizes or Formats?
More than one pack size can be considered when the complete required range is reviewed before manufacture. This machine category has a general reference range of 30–100 mm in finished width, 30–170 mm in finished length and 1–50 g target fill. Changes in width, seal layout or pack geometry may require dedicated forming, sealing or cutting parts.
How Do I Calculate the Required Rollstock Film Width?
For initial planning, back-seal stick-pack film width is often estimated as twice the finished pack width plus the longitudinal-seal allowance. For example, if the finished pack width is 30 mm and the confirmed longitudinal-seal allowance is 10 mm, the preliminary film width is (30 × 2) + 10 = 70 mm. A three-side-seal or four-side-seal sachet uses a different film and sealing arrangement, so final rollstock width must be calculated from the approved pack drawing, seal dimensions and machine forming structure.
What Affects the Actual Packing Speed?
The general reference output is 20–60 finished bags per minute for the machine. Actual speed depends on product behaviour, target fill, pack length, film properties, sealing conditions and the selected machine configuration. A representative product and film review is required before project output is confirmed.
Can the Voltage Be Configured for My Country?
Yes. The electrical configuration can be prepared for the destination market. Provide the required voltage, frequency and phase before manufacture so they can be confirmed in the final machine specification; the general reference electrical specification is 220 V, 50/60 Hz and 1.4 kW.
How Much Does a Stick Pack or Sachet Packing Machine Cost?
There is no fixed price for every project. Cost depends on the finished pack format and dimensions, product, target fill, required output, sealing and cutting requirements, destination electrical configuration and selected optional functions. Share these details to receive a project-specific quotation.
What After-Sales Service Is Available?
NEW PACKING can provide remote video support, English manuals, operator training, installation and commissioning support, spare-parts supply and overseas on-site service according to the project. The service method, availability, related costs and warranty terms are confirmed in the final quotation and contract.
